TXLens
Free transaction check — no account

Withdrawal shows complete but there is no transaction ID

Complete is a status the sending platform chose. Broadcast is a fact the chain records. They coincide when the platform has published a hash. They do not coincide when the platform moved the funds internally, is still queuing the broadcast, or used the word complete for a compliance check.

The receiving exchange cannot credit a transfer that does not exist on-chain yet. Pasting an empty TXID field into TXLens will not create one.

Telling us the destination lets TXLens check that platform's network support, minimum deposit, tag requirement and confirmation threshold. You can leave it blank and still see everything the blockchain says.

Free and unlimited. No account, no card, no wallet connection — a transaction ID is public information and it is all we need.

Internal transfers look like withdrawals

Sending from Binance to another Binance user, or from Coinbase to another Coinbase user, is often booked inside the company's ledger. There may be no blockchain transaction at all. The destination sees a credit because both accounts live in the same database, not because a miner included a hash.

If the destination is a different company, that internal shortcut is not available. A missing hash then means the sender has not broadcast, even if their UI already says complete.

What to do on the sending side

  • Open the withdrawal row, not the order row, and look for TxID, hash or an explorer link.
  • If the field is blank, ask the sending platform's support for the hash. The destination cannot invent it.
  • If they say it was an internal transfer, the destination will never see a chain payment; the sender must reverse or rebook it.
  • Do not create a second withdrawal while the first hash is missing. You may broadcast twice.

What the destination can and cannot do

Without a hash, destination support is being asked to find a payment that has no public existence. That ticket dies. Get the hash from the sender first, then check it. If the sender cannot produce one after their own advertised processing time, the problem is still on their side.

What you get, and what it costs

Free, always

The transaction check: network, asset, amount, both addresses, timestamp, on-chain status, confirmation count, and a copyable evidence message for support. No diagnosis.

£9.99, one-off

The diagnosis: the likely cause, recovery outlook, step-by-step instructions, the official support route, wording written for that case, and 72-hour monitoring. No subscription.

Questions

The sending exchange says complete. Is the destination lying?

Usually neither is lying. Complete can mean 'we deducted your balance'. Credited means 'we saw a chain payment into your deposit address'. Those can be hours apart, or never meet if the hash was never broadcast.

Can I use the destination address instead of a TXID?

An address search shows every payment to that address, which on an exchange is thousands of customers. It will not isolate yours. The hash is the isolator.
