Crypto transaction stuck pending

A pending transaction has been broadcast to the network but not yet included in a block. Until it is, nothing has moved and no exchange can credit it — which also means there is nothing for support to find.

Most pending transactions resolve on their own within minutes. A fee set too low during congestion is the usual reason one sits for hours.

Telling us the destination lets TXLens check that platform's network support, minimum deposit, tag requirement and confirmation threshold. You can leave it blank and still see everything the blockchain says.

Free and unlimited. No account, no card, no wallet connection — a transaction ID is public information and it is all we need.

What usually causes this

These are the common explanations for this category of problem. Which one applies to your transfer depends on your transaction, the network it used and the destination's deposit rules — that is what the check above works out.

  • Network congestion with a fee below the current market rate
  • A nonce gap from an earlier stuck transaction on EVM chains
  • A replace-by-fee transaction still waiting for a miner

Confirmations required, platform by platform

The same transfer is 'not yet confirmed enough' at one platform and long since credited at another, because the threshold is a business decision rather than a property of the network. Comparing them is the quickest way to see whether your wait is normal.

What you get, and what it costs

Free, always

The transaction check: network, asset, amount, both addresses, timestamp, on-chain status, confirmation count, and a copyable evidence message for support. No diagnosis.

£9.99, one-off

The diagnosis: the likely cause, recovery outlook, step-by-step instructions, the official support route, wording written for that case, and 72-hour monitoring. No subscription.

Questions

Should I resend the transaction?

No. If both eventually confirm, you have sent twice. Use your wallet's speed-up or replace-by-fee feature instead, which replaces rather than duplicates.

Can a pending transaction be cancelled?

On EVM chains you can sometimes replace it with a higher-fee transaction to yourself using the same nonce. On Bitcoin it depends on whether it was marked replaceable.
