Crypto transfer problems, explained
There are not many ways a transfer goes wrong, which is the good news: the list below is close to exhaustive. Nearly every missing deposit is one of these, and most of them are recoverable or simply a matter of waiting.

By symptom
Start from what you can see. Each page explains what that symptom usually means and what it rules out.
- Crypto sent but not received? Find out what happenedPaste the transaction ID to see where your crypto went, whether it confirmed, and why it may not be credited
- Transaction confirmed, but crypto still not received?Confirmed on-chain but missing from the wallet or exchange? Check network, confirmations, memo or tag, minimums and destination rules from the TXID
- Sent crypto on the wrong network? Check whether it can be recoveredPaste the TXID to identify the network used, see whether the destination supports it, and find the official recovery route
- Deposit not credited to your account?Your deposit reached the exchange but was not credited
- Deposit sent without a memo or destination tagXRP, XLM and similar deposits need a destination tag or memo
- Crypto transaction stuck pendingA pending transaction hasn't been mined yet
- Deposit below the exchange minimumExchanges don't credit deposits under their published minimum
