The short version: we need a transaction ID, which is already public. We don't need your identity, and we've built the service so that we mostly don't have it.
What we collect
Transaction IDs you submit, together with the destination platform you select and the resulting analysis. This is stored so your result page keeps working, so monitoring can re-check the transfer, and so a paid diagnosis survives a closed tab.
Payment records: the derived address for your payment, the amount, the rate used and the on-chain transfer that settled it. We need this to credit your purchase and for tax and accounting obligations.
No email address. We do not ask for one and there is nowhere to enter it, so we cannot email you and you cannot be added to a mailing list. Your diagnosis is reached through the access link shown after payment, which is why it is worth saving.
What we never collect
Seed phrases, private keys, exchange passwords, two-factor codes, wallet connections, or signatures. We do not ask for them and there is no place in the product to enter them.
We do not require an account to use TXLens, including to buy a diagnosis. There is no identity verification, because a diagnostic tool has no business demanding one.
Cookies
One functional cookie per paid check, holding the unlock token so your diagnosis survives a page refresh. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and there are no third-party advertising cookies on this site.
Blockchain data and third parties
To read your transaction, we query public blockchain APIs and RPC endpoints. Those providers see the transaction ID and the addresses involved, all of which are already public on the blockchain. We also query public price sources to convert prices into crypto.
Note the inherent limitation of any blockchain service: a transaction ID is permanently public, and we cannot make it private. What we can do is not attach your identity to it.
Retention
Free checks are kept only as long as useful for your result page and monitoring window (72 hours), then become eligible for deletion. Paid diagnoses are kept so you can return to them. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing. Because we collect so little, this is usually a short conversation. Contact support and we will action it.
