Terms of use

TXLens is a diagnostic and information tool. It is not a custodian, a broker, a payment service, an exchange, a recovery service, or a provider of financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

We never take possession of your crypto assets, and we cannot move, freeze, reverse or recover them. Where a diagnosis suggests recovery may be possible, that recovery is a process between you and the platform or person controlling the funds.

Diagnoses are based on public blockchain data and on our record of platform deposit requirements, which change without notice. We therefore describe likely causes rather than certainties, and you should verify anything consequential against the platform's own documentation before acting on it.

Blockchain data reaches us through third-party providers. If a provider is unavailable or returns incomplete data, a check may be delayed or incomplete. We would rather tell you that than guess.

Checking a transaction is free. The diagnosis and any additional products are one-off purchases, priced in GBP and payable in cryptocurrency to an address generated for your payment. Prices are converted at the time of payment using a rate held for a short window.

You are responsible for sending the correct asset on the correct network to the address shown. Because blockchain transfers are irreversible, a payment sent on the wrong network or in the wrong asset may not be recoverable — the same problem this service exists to explain. Our refund policy is published separately.

You may use TXLens for transactions you are legitimately involved in. You may not use it to harass, trace or profile third parties, to circumvent sanctions, or to facilitate criminal activity. We may decline service where we reasonably believe it is being misused.

TXLens will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys, passwords or two-factor codes, and will never ask you to connect a wallet or approve a transaction. Any message claiming otherwise is not from us. Never share those details with anyone.

To the extent permitted by law, TXLens is provided on an "as is" basis and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected diagnosis. We are not liable for funds lost through transfers you made, decisions you take based on a diagnosis, or the actions or inaction of any third-party platform.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Questions about these terms, or a diagnosis you believe is wrong, can be raised with support. We would genuinely rather hear it than not.
