Refunds
Last updated August 2026
Paying in crypto means there is no card issuer to appeal to if we behave badly. That places the burden on us to publish a clear policy and honour it, which is what this page is for.
When we refund
We will refund your payment in full if:
— the diagnosis was factually wrong about your transaction, for example it identified the wrong network, the wrong amount, or a cause that demonstrably does not apply;
— a technical failure on our side prevented you from receiving the diagnosis you paid for;
— you were charged twice for the same transaction.
When we generally won't
We will not usually refund because the answer was unwelcome. If the honest diagnosis is that your deposit is below a platform's minimum and unlikely to be recovered, that is a correct diagnosis and it is the product working — even though it is not the news you wanted.
We also cannot refund a platform's decision. If your exchange declines a recovery request, that is their decision, not a fault in the analysis.
How a refund is paid
Refunds are made in the same asset and on the same network you paid with, less the network fee. Because we do not take card details or hold accounts, we need a refund address from you.
Please do not give us an exchange deposit address for a refund. Refunds are sent from our own addresses, not the one you paid from, and some platforms only credit deposits they were expecting. A refund sent to an exchange address can be credited to the wrong place or lost — which is, of course, exactly the problem this service exists to diagnose. A wallet you control yourself is safer.
How to ask
Contact support with your check link or payment address and a sentence about what went wrong. We do not require you to argue your case at length.
