Free transaction check — no account

Sent XRP without a destination tag?

Sent XRP to an exchange without the destination tag? The XRP may have reached the exchange address even though it was not assigned to your account. Paste the TXID to check whether a tag was included and prepare the evidence support needs.

TXLens reads DestinationTag directly from the XRP Ledger. The free evidence message includes that field. The paid diagnosis adds the recovery wording for the receiving platform.

Telling us the destination lets TXLens check that platform's network support, minimum deposit, tag requirement and confirmation threshold. You can leave it blank and still see everything the blockchain says.

Free and unlimited. No account, no card, no wallet connection — a transaction ID is public information and it is all we need.

What usually causes this

These are the common explanations for this category of problem. Which one applies to your transfer depends on your transaction, the network it used and the destination's deposit rules — that is what the check above works out.

  • No destination tag was included
  • The tag was entered in the wrong field
  • The tag belonged to a different account or a closed account

Which platforms require a memo or destination tag

Where a platform shares one deposit address between customers, the tag is the only thing identifying your account. A transfer without it arrives somewhere real and belongs to nobody in particular until support attributes it.

XRP support needs the DestinationTag field from the ledger

Telling an exchange you 'forgot the tag' is not enough. They need the hash, the amount, the shared receiving address and whether DestinationTag was present on the payment. The free generator reads that field from the XRPL record so the ticket is searchable.

What you get, and what it costs

Free, always

The transaction check: network, asset, amount, both addresses, timestamp, on-chain status, confirmation count, and a copyable evidence message for support. No diagnosis.

The diagnosis: the likely cause, recovery outlook, step-by-step instructions, the official support route, wording written for that case, and 72-hour monitoring. No subscription.

Questions

Can an exchange credit XRP sent without a tag?

Usually yes, manually, once you prove the sending address is yours. It commonly takes days to weeks and some platforms charge a recovery fee.

Should I send another XRP transfer with the tag?

No. It will credit the second transfer and do nothing about the first.
